Since 1962, BSI has provided Jet Tube™ burners for a wide variety of applications. The original lance port burner has become an industry standard in furnace, boiler, water heating and laundry applications.
Over the years, BSI has further developed porting technology to produce a diverse range of complex port patterns for use in specialty applications. Several porting styles are available to meet various design requirements such as lance ports, punch ports, double lance ports, and extruded ports. Typical manufacturing technologies include the use of three-axis CNC porting machines and multi-port punching dies. Other capabilities include bending, welding, and fabrication.
BSI utilizes aluminized or stainless steels to balance the design requirements and cost targets of today's gas fired appliances. The working temperature range is usually the deciding factor in determining which type of material will provide the best performance.
